'And here', 'all that time' I thought Amy's dress was a light blue cotton knit!  It didn't look denim on my TV.  Could have been my TV settings.

Me too, so I ordered the petite a size or two larger to get the advantage of the extra length. I got the "regular" in xl, the petite in 1x. 

I'm short but I don't like to wear short skirts at all.

I'm guessing (hoping) that the model pictured is tall, like most Q models, and I'm SHORT.

Yeah it says it's 36 1/2". That is 2" too short for me.  I'm 5'4" and prefer my dresses around 38 1/2 or longer.
