I put this in the fahsion  forum, but it's a 4 part documentary on the history of  American Fashion that premiers on CNN January 13.  It features Tim Gunn among others.

Already have my DVR set.  I can't wait.  I lived through all of it.  Born in 1945.  Thanks for the heads-up though.

I'm watching it now on Youtube.

It really is fascinating.

I especially like how they explain how and why fashion was the way it was and interweave the politics, social commentary and economics of each decade.

They also have many famous commentators involved from Diane Furstenberg, to Issac Mizrahi to Hugh HefnerSmiley Happy!

And I love Brad Goreski (Fashion Police and other stuff)-he is so knowledgeable about fashion and funny too!
