I don't know if it's the tennis skirt/shorts mini or the suede boots that are too big and too short (need to be at the knees or over the knees) or maybe it's the mix of fabrics/textures? I don't know but it doesn't work for me.

She's been shot in some GORGEOUS outfits so when it's a miss, it's OBVIOUS.

@Trinity11 She's too old for that outfit in my opinion.   She is a respected professional woman.  I'm an old woman who thinks it's a little degrading for women, especially those who are middle aged, to have to dress like that for attention.  Women are worth far more than their bodies.

@Sooner- I don't think Amal Clooney is worried about anyone's attention other than George's.  And no one has to tell her - given her life's work - that a woman is worth far more than her body!

@Sooner, I think my definition of middle age and yours probably differs.

She was out on a date with her husband, not appearing in a court room. Maybe she wanted a little attention from her husband and in my world, that's OK.
