Re: Am I the only one that prefers a beige or neutral shoe?

I never agreed with the concept of wearing a nude shoe with pants to elongate the leg. IMO if you want to elongate your leg, your shoes should match your pants so everything flows together. A nude shoe with a black pant cuts you off at the foot.

I do get the concept of a nude shoe if you are wearing a dress or skirt but I often don't subscribe to that. I do own a few nude pumps and a few pair of nude wedges. I'm not a metallic shoe fan at all. I don't think I own a silver, gold, pewter or bronze pair of shoes that I can think of.

I don't have "off" colored shoes either like hot pink, cobalt blue, yellow, etc. I do have animal print shoes.

I prefer shoes with some color. Beige or taupe colored shoes always look so dowdy to me. I know that isn't always the case, but they just don't ever look good on my feet.

On 2/16/2015 occasional rain said: Perhap's Kate has large or flat feet and doesn't want to call attention to them.

I suppose it's possible, but so what? That would be the right way to not draw attention to her shoe size. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

FYI ..... Jacqueline Kennedy wore a size 11 shoe !

Just saw a picture of Kate wearing a white coat with black shoes.

Re: Am I the only one that prefers a beige or neutral shoe?

I wish I owned a great nude heel but color calls my name. I am tall so having small feet would look stupid on me.

Glad there is a selection for everyone!
