That is exactly what my mail carrier does. I get irritated. We have the Neighborhood mailbox that has 2 large boxes for large items. They should put larger items in those boxes and then put the key in your box. I received a package today that she stuffed in our box like a wet rag. Needles to say, it was very wrinkled.

A lot of times I believe you do get returns sent you you when you order. I had one thing happen in a good way however. I ordered an ""As is"" wallet and ended up getting one much better than I ordered sent to me instead but still charged the ""As is"" price. I kept it. Maybe not ethical but QVC is pretty shady themselves.

Regarding clothing items, exactly how are these experts who ship out ascertaining if something returned is ok to sell to someone as NEW. Better start giving each garment the smell test as well since we all know some folks are wearing and returning. And don't forget the stretched out garments that people return.

I once ordered a "new" handbag ( NOT an AS IS bag or a wait list bag) from QVC. When it arrived it was filled with candy, half eaten candy (yuk) and candy wrappers left there by the previous owner. I immediately returned it. I have not ordered a handbag from QVC ever since. In fact, I am ordering less and less from QVC... usually just my WEN and some makeup kits I cannot find elsewhere.

Never go on waitlist!! I received a waitlist jacket with a huge black grease mark on the front. I definitely believe waist list items are often customer returns and are not always carefully examined. QVC always said their items haven't been laying on a store floor or been tried on by lots of other people. Ha! I haven't heard this statement in a long time. I think they have changed their practice with returns and don't immediately ship them off to an outlet store. Furthermore, QVC is not the only home shopping retailer who does this. Buyer beware!
