Lately I've gotten a few items of clothing that were not folded neatly in the plastic and the tissue was a crumpled mess. It made me wonder if I was getting an item someone else returned. Anyone else get clothing sent like this? Can't qvc do a better job of shipping out items. I'm turned off now.

Sorry to hear you had a few bad experiences. I order a lot of clothing and this order was odd from the start. It came quite a bit later than the rest of the order. I did a thorough inspection and believe it was someone's return so it's going back with the paperwork for an exchange. Hopefully I will get a new item next go around.

of course you are and so do I.

yes, I am guessing it was a return...I have received returned items....I check them out..if they are okay...I keep and launder them...
I figure that happens at the B*M stores....people make returns and its put back on the rack...no big deal...

On the bright side.......now that returns are going to cost customers double $$$ - or lose their original S/H, perhaps there will be fewer returns and less chance of you getting second hand clothing.
I don't buy Q's (clothing) any more but I've suspected some items I received years ago were returns - guess that's what 'wait list' is all about.
I read on here that Q's outlet stores have or are closing - I assumed that's where returns went in the past and perhaps the reason for the new return policy.

Yes I'm sure you are, especially if you order clearance or "as is"

That's what restocking is! But I would hope they would "handle" and repackage the entire item, nothing wrinkled or used looking. When I return, I do so with care but still it would need repackaging.

Of course you are - especially if you go on wait list.

I asked about this in another thread. I get returns a lot. I can tell by the grey-colored label vs. the black and white one. Like circles said, I check them out and launder them if they seem they're OK. I have received defective returns too. Those I write a letter about and ask to be credited ALL charges! I got a bag once that was a "return" and had a big scratch on the front. Wouldn't you think someone would have noticed this??
