On a whim, I tried on a pair of "sailor" pants the other day. Although they were a little big, they were cuter than I would have imagined. I decided to order a smaller size and see how they are. I wouldn't want to look too "costumey" while wearing them, so if they fit, I will have to think about what I might pair with them to avoid that.

@lolakimono  I also happened to have bought this sweater.

What's really sad is I wore them to work on Wednesday.  I remember the Popeye pants (that's what I call them), black suede camuto bootoes and I think I wore a dark charcoal grey long sleeve crewneck tee.  Actually the buttons weren't even on display.  I'll need to tuck whatever I wear next time.

i really like nordy's take on the sailor pant.  i wish, though they would come out with a skinny addition.  i have a pair with zippers, so why not buttons?

i can't figure out here whether it's addition or edition.  feel free to correct me!
