I was a huge fan of Coldwater Creek. Their clothes fit me well, and I found everything I needed there, including gifts for others.
I really dislike shopping in malls, and if I go to one, it's usually for a specialty store like Bath and Body Works.
I like the clothes here. I have been able to find the selection I need. I don't wear lounge clothes much, but I finally broke down and bought some sets to wear at home.
I wear a lot of jackets and dresses in different colors. I tend to stick with solids, except in summer. But I do have some prints. It just depends!
DD also likes some of the clothes, so I will take issue with anyone who says millennials won't shop here! A while back she bought a Barefoot Dreams sweater. Three of her friends ordered it too, after liking it on her.

I try to think about how many hours I have to work to pay for everthing
to me qvc fashions is usually not worth it
sometimes I can justify it for food or beauty (maybe hubby wouldn't agree with beauty LOL)
the qvc card going up to 34.99% I will opt out of card and I've cancelled most of my autoships.
I'll probably miss Valerie Parr Hill the most when I cancel my qvc card.
Maybe I'll transfer the couple remaining items to a lower % card or maybe I'll cancel them. I haven't decided yet.
I'm sure the powers that be don't give a rat's ... about me. Plenty of others that will pay whatever.

@Tori3569,- I'm from WP and shopped at the Westchester all the time. The Chico's store (when the mall first opened) su*ked me in immediately. I would say 95% of my work clothes came from them at the time. I still have some Traveler's pants/crops. When they closed, I moved over to J. Jill. Eileen Fisher used to have a small outlet in Irvington in their offices.
Now living in southern Delaware, all we have are outlets. I very rarely purchase clothing here. And, I'm not a TJMaxx/Marshall's shopper. I think working at Saks 5th Avenue spoiled me.
When I sub in the offices of our local school districts, I still dress in my "business casual" work clothes. I never thought I would say that I miss wearing them. But I am a little "overdressed" compared to everyone else!

Did any of the large floral tops look like this?

@Nonametoday No. But I saw the transparent look at Nordstrom.

i do agree about the pricing. B&M stores, some, are pricey compared to the Q. but to me, price is mostly about quality.
i shop at various stores to fill in my wardrobe.
Madewell, Nordstrom's TJmaxx, LLBean, Rei etc...
i am just glad we have choices....
i think the Q's problem is they just don't have enough mainstream vendors. D&Co., KG, SG, Cuddl Duds, LOGO etc.. is just on repeat and it gets old really quick and then they lose viewers.
glad to see some new ones but its just not enough. and the ones i liked - Laurie Felt (denim - not her tops) & CCB bit the dust. i felt they were geared more toward a younger crowd or for older women to dress stylish, not dowdy.

@amyb. Interesting how the customer service reps unabashedly were publicly dissing on the QVC customer. Same this happening with Cracker Barrel’s CEO saying they weren’t as relevant anymore and Bud Light’s marketing person saying their image was too fratty. Seems like companies really don’t like their customers anymore. I guess the coveted age bracket used to be 35 to 55 or something like that. But the reality is that over 50’s have more disposable income and a lot of younger people buy clothes online from Amazon and Ali.
I thought the Cracker Barrel CEO was implying that their customer base was dying and the new generation were not fans of Cracker Barrel and that in order to stay afloat, they would have to change or go out of business, and I notice on that, they have been closing stores.

***** @GoodyShoes I hear ya, it was insulting, but I wouldn't take it too personally. Honestly these posters on Reddit seemed like very disgruntled, former, customer svc reps...often "typing" folks, and sounded more like they had "generational issues", and the "dissing" sounded ignorant, and said more about them, imo. That said...ok....perhaps they had some bad experiences with QVC, with a QVC customer on the phone (according to them, some calling up and, "being SO entitled!" (a favorite attack word these days), said they were demanding things, and treating them poorly...that CAN happen, I'm sure.
Hey, I've worked customer svc type jobs, we've all had "challenging" customers, being demanding or high maintanence, all kinds of people out there...and we've all vented on jobs, behind the scenes.
But in terms of Q management...it's not personal....it's the bottom line. NOT that many, even in the business, think they are "getting it right" in going after a young audience, rather than focusing on their core audience, an older audience with disposable income.
For instance...you're selling "more mature" type clothing....DON'T try to snag a 20 y.o. to wear D&C by spinning your schpeel about it! You can say all day long "Oh...even my daughter or granddaughter would love this"....that's just not your customer for that....even if you sell it while drinking wine. 🙄
Anyway, these were some bitter former employees venting and being catty, and saying nasty things toward people. What they said hardly "typed" ALL the consumers here correctly.
