Advertising: What do You Think?

I saw this in an email from Three Dots.

Do you like the way they have featured the available colors of this tee?

@lolakimono

I like the colors being shown together.

Have you purchased items from this company?

Reminds me of a Bob Mackie cardigan that had colorblocked sleeves.

@butterfly123

I haven't purchased from them, but I signed up for emails for a deal on short sleeved turtlenecks.

@Ms tyrion2

I do like the way they did the colors, but I am also partial to stripes.  Usually you just see a swatch or a line of color among a big pile of layers.  I haven't seen anything like this before.

I like the way the color-blocking was done to give you a better view of the colors instead of a tiny swatch where the color is hard to read.

Yes, it's different and eye-catching.

Re: Advertising: What do You Think?

I have no strong feelings against it, but I'd rather tap on a color swatch and see the entire shirt in a single color.  I guess it would be okay for print, but for an online ad, I'd rather see the whole top.

Horizontal stripes don't have a tendency to lure me in.
