Thank goodness I rarely read anything on QVC's homepage! lol

It is all marketing - that they hope we mistakenly see as good friends helping us to make good (BUY BUY BUY) decisions on TV. All the shopping channels do this. 

I dont usually sit sit and watch shows. I shop online and watch videos for items I'm interested in. There are a few vendors on each channel I occasionally watch briefly because I enjoy them. 

We are our own style experts. Hooefully.

At my age I know what my style is so I don't need style experts. There is nothing wrong with offering people advice and suggestions. What I take issue with is when any so called expert says things like, "Everyone needs ________." I thought there weren't any rules anymore? They say whatever they can to sell and promote their designs.

don't these women usually wear their own clothes and not qvc's?  i would think if they are our style experts on qvc, they would be wearing what qvc is selling.   people are always inquiring what they are wearing and it is not anything the q is selling.

rinna wears her own clothes so i'm not referring to her.

I think QVC is pushing Shawn as a fashion expert now since they don't have LR.  She sure doesn't come across as one to me though.  Quite the opposite a lot of the time.  She seems quite ignorant about some fashion basics.  It's really highlighted when she's talking with IM.
