That ABR top hurts my eyes- like a cross between Mardi Gras, a sofa, and a bulletin board, and I have a high threshold for color & pattern.

gmkb & Bird Mama, enjoy your NYE with your families.  I am fine.  I went to bed at 10:30 & have had enough sleep for now.  I will be takinbg a nap this afternoon.  The neighbors across the street had lights on when I got up & the lady next door left for work at 4:30 a.m  

It has been a mild week.  No big snowstorms.  That can change in a moment though.

@twinny70  I'll probably spend a couple of hours and head home.  I think dinner is served late (to me) around 7pm.  I'm not in it for the food (prime rib), I want to hang with the little people (great nieces).

Good morning, all.  Looks like I'm finishing up 2016 with a cold   I do have dinner plans with my cousin and her husband and another couple that I used to work with.  We get together every year and exchange gifts on the first Saturday following Christmas.  I still need to make my cinnamon almonds this morning.  I'll be home before all the crazy drunks are out on the road, so I should be safe.  Not sure I'll feel much like celebrating tonight, but I woke up feeling much better than yesterday.

Good Morning @Eliana.  I'm glad you're feeling better.  I came down with a cold (or the first time in years) after Thanksgiving.  That cold hung on for over 2 weeks.
