About the peeps.  There was a time the factory paid attention to the chicks and they looked like little chicks.  Once they figured out how to make the bunny shape, it's like they focused making the bunny and the chicks started looking half-@ssed.  Because I side with the underdog - my vote is for the Team Chick.

I just want chocolate for easter

I noticed that Lindt choc bunnies and the reindeer are the exact same mold they use different foil wraps

now a chocolate-covered peep might interest me

@jackthebear  even the candy makers are getting lazy.

My desktop finally gave up the ghost ... I went to BestBuy and reluctantly bought what appeared to be the top of the line (HP 27" all in one) ... not so sure about that, though.

Anyway, set up appointment for one of the Geek Squad to come and set it up ... two weeks before I could get a date ... can you believe that?

I hit up Aldi's yesterday mostly for heirloom eggs they had last week - lovely blue & dark brown eggs. A new discovery there so lovely, so tasty. Oh and yeah, I did get a few other things too. Purely by accident I found a full carton of these eggs there last week and hoped I still find a dozen or two yesterday. Well there were only three dz left and I bought two of them. We go through eggs like they're the last on earth. I hard boil some so I have one every morning with my poodle - he gets a few chunks of the egg white while I enjoy the rest. We always have a nice breakfast on Sundays so we (hubby and me) will fix traditional full breakfast. I love breakfast food, could eat it every day - oh wait, I do!!!  Well at least an egg, then a banana or apple with peanut butter - yes with my poodle!

We're having wings tomorrow, I'm making some potato salad with the small round taters and a few deviled eggs. Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow, it did nicely yesterday, this morning I let the poodle out when I got up, see that it's wet outside so it obviously rained over night. It's cloudy out now, temp not bad.

After I perused my morning emails, I get them from shophq & hsn as well as the Q. I saw a duo handbag purchase on shophq, once only price tag for two really nice handbags, lovely spring colors, faux leather by Madi Claire. $49 out the door for both, nice size on each one and the larger reverses to a gorgeous soft floral pattern. I bought two in a soft sage green and the other nice sunshine yellow. Can't wait to get these!!!! For some reason I'm into refreshing my handbags. early on I found a really nice real leather, great size at amazon, on in a dark cognac brown then went back for a great bright navy. Love this bag, out the prime door for $42.00!!!  I know (as Leah would say!!!), real leather!

Not sure what we'll do today, if it's going to drizzle some more (and I'm not sure it will or not), we won't be doing anything. We need to get out in the back yard and still do spring cleanup from the fall - egad! yes we still have a few annuals to get rid of, and a couple of perrenials to cut back so the new growth has room as they'll be popping SOON I hope!

Blessed weekend to all of you. I hope your Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday are beautiful. Remember please what this weekend really means, from Holy Thursday through the rise of Easter Sunday.

Good morning!

Our weather is supposed to be rainy.

The fam is going for Easter dinner today at 2:30 to a couples home and it looks way out on the map. So I am not going... sad, but the road situation here is still a big drawback for me.

@LTT1

Why not ride with them?

I feel you @SoX   I'm typing this on a Windows 7 desktop.  Woman Very Happy  I have a Windows 10 laptop that I usually turn on after I settle the flock for the night and I'm downstairs in the family room.  I'm a bit set in my ways so I'm trying to figure out what I can do without when it comes to the next desk top.  I like my wireless full sized keyboard.  It's like I don't know how to function if I don't have some kind of optical drive available to me.  I like to pop in the occasional CD and listen to music.  I also have digital format music but I have more CDs.

I don't mind paying more for a solid state drive (SSD) because those wear like iron.  Been thinking about an all in one but again, what about my optical drive.  Then there's windows 11.  Windows 7 is my love, much like Windows 98 was back in the day.  The amount of time I spent to customize that windows 10 laptop was ridiculous.

I know nothing about Windows 11 and I don't think it's been out a year.  I have to check that.  It's like when I buy a car - I never buy a model the first year it comes out - I like the makers to work out the kinks and then I'll buy.

The prices are insane right now.

I like to give my sparrow Presto some boiled egg white now and then.  @PINKdogWOOD  I keep forgetting to check out ShopHQ.  I hope you enjoy your new bags.
