I don't know how heavy they would be.  I bought these by Franco Sarto (same brand as the shoe in my picture) last year and didn't have a problem. 

I don't know about the wrap around ankle strap on the lower heeled pair though.  My ankles are bony and easily annoyed, lol.

Today is our 45th wedding anniversary....time to bring out the album and comment on how young we were!  But we did have a fun day, although we planned that every year on our anniversary we would go someplace warm (florida) to celebrate.  Well, that didn't happen!

So far, IMO only, the DB Anorak is not looking all that good on Leah or the models.

@Bird mama You are right! But you know what they say about the mother of invention.  I had to use the rest of the Wen for something.  I think it lasted as a shaving cream for about two years!  A little dab really did do it.  😄

@Snicks1 - I'm sorry about your DD! That's not the first time I've heard of someone being airborne from Chicago winds... a friend of mine said he was once there, coming toward a building entrance and a tiny older lady had grabbed onto the door handle but got lifted up from a gust - he said he just bundled in behind her and got them both inside.

Concerning marriage...I had a dear friend who used to say, "It should be the tradition when you marry, that every ten years you have the option to stay together or dissolve it, depending on both parties agreeing. "   Usually brought it up when her husband made her crazy, which was often!
