Happy Saturday in November and Thanksgiving in about one week!

So, I made a post earlier in the week about manufacturers using lots of "plastic" in what used to be natural, woven fabrics.

Lately, have been watching "Gossip Gitl" ...a show I kept hearing about many years ago. This is one of the tv shows which not only seemed to reflect society during those years, but also seemed to shape it as well.

In the earlier episodes of this series, the fashions displayed the most unique and artistic qualities I have ever seen. I am referring to the fashions worn by Blake Lively . She has the height and the proportions that designers seem to love to style.

Most of hers were in a "boho" type flavor. Vests adorned with lots of interestingly placed metal studs and jewelry chosen to perfectly coordinate.

I have never had a "phase" of wearing lots of glamor, but perhaps this is because I was teaching during that time in a very cold classroom...so tissue cotton turtlenecks and trouser cut jeans were my staples!
I am returning to that time in fashion history and trying to re-capture the drama!🌞

Poor Leah, taking another one for the team. Why does she have to wear almost everything she's going to present!? It's distracting. Why can't they just put her in a nice professional outfit? The constant changing of clothes now like Shawn and the rest do is so silly, too. Why have models if the hosts have to model every item?

i awoke at 4:00 a.m., too ... but didn't check into the boards.   I've been piddling around doing much of nothing.   Just made coffee ... 

Made lots of purchases this week, some Christmas presents, but mostly for me! 

I'll be "goin' South" for the Thanksgiving weekend, so have been trying to select my take-along clothing ... maybe that's why I can't sleep.

This "piling on" of mish mash clothing coming up is ridiculous.

I have that coat  Leah is wearing ... I forget who told us about it when it was $85!   I haven't even taken it out of the box yet ... can't decide if I want to keep it.

Good Saturday morning to all!

Why would Breezies make a sparkle/lurex brief might be itchy if you have sensitive skin.  Looks like a good deal 5 for $40 though.

I don't own that coat from DB, it's beautiful but I have my share of his coats.  It must be chilly in thevQVC studio to be able to wear that coat and not sweat.

Chilly day today I had to step outside to get a amazon package.
