I am making beef and noodles for supper.  I am trying it with bite size stew meat (need to use it).  Googled how to make stew meat tender and followed that advice.  So will see how it turnes out, hoping not the usual tough as shoe leather.   Who knew that when you brown the stew meat not to crowd it in the pan.  No, I did not make homemade noodles bought frozen.

@LTT1   Good morning! I rose, but sure I'm awake enough to shine...yet. Started this thread yesterday since the events of this week have me turned around and missed a day somewhere.

Good morning all!

Still in bed watching AM style getting ready to order a couple of items.  I have laundry to do later and cleaning not my favorite, in fact I am thinking about getting a housekeeper to come in at least twice a month to keep the house tidy.  It's hard as you get older and have multiple floors and rooms to clean.  I would love a ranch style house but will stay put for now.  My husband retired in 2020 right before COVID began, I am retiring next year!!!

Today, i am going to a cheer competition with DD and family. It is DGDs first competition of the season!

I received a text from her Thursday night: "nana will you please get some shampoo for me tomorrow"?
She knows I go to Ulta every Friday for my hair! So it's easy to just pick up what she needs when I’m there.

I discussed the unease many of us are feeling right now with my stylist yesterday. Apparently all of the ladies at that location concurred.🌫️

Good morning, friends. Watching on and off, got to an early start this morning and just getting out of the shower. I'm having my house painted outside and don't know when to expect the contractors to arrive. They put plastic over my windows yesterday and I feel that I'm living in a fog and can't breathe! Hope they get far enough today that they can take it down, it's a strange feeling not to be able to see outside. 

I got excited when I saw the D&Co 3/4 sleeve shirt at $30 and rushed on to order only to find it's polyester! Grrrr. 

Guess I'm in the minority but I'm feeling hopeful for our country and praying for better days. Y'all enjoy your weekend!

It's been eerily quite since Tuesday I guess everyone is still processing  what happened but I too am on a wait and see pause but feeling change and praying for better days.

Beautiful day here in NW Ohio.  Worked hard all week, so I'm going to relax this weekend.  Just checked the football TV lineup to catch my college favorites and NFL favorites so I can watch today and tomorrow.

@Imaoldhippie. When I cook meat that is potentially tough, I use the pressure cooker.  Not only is it fast but the meat is falling-apart tender.
