AM Style Chat - November 7, 2020

Good Morning,

I just watched the sunrise and it was spectacular.  We're having Indian Summer in my part of the world with sunshine and 70 degree weather.  This is going to continue through Monday and I've been busy clearing the leaves on my property.  I'm still a little stiff from yesterday's work but will get back at it today.  While the weather is nice I'm going to string up the Christmas Lights outside.  Busy, busy -  a good kind of busy.

How are you today?

@Bird mama

Good morning!  Indian Summer here in Tennessee as well and I need to rake leaves before they stain the driveway. It's good exercise and I love the smell of burning leaves.

I think that I went a whole week without buying any clothes!  I don't need any new clothes.  Did you send back your Diamonique bracelet?  I ordered 3 sets of the Diamonique birthstone earrings and necklace as Christmas gifts and I hope that they are nice and that I am not disappointed.The only Diamonique that I own are earrings- I think that I have 3 pair and I enjoy them and wear them often.

Good morning @Bird mama

It's currently 52 degrees here ...  going up to the low-to-mid 70s.  I need to get coffee started so that I can focus on something other than the national news., but raking leaves (or vacuuming) is not on my agenda today.

I took out my olive field jacket  similar to yours  that I ordered last year for my early morning walks ... so far I have'nt needed it.

Indian summer here too, been reaching the 70s lately with still more days to go. By mid week down to the 60s then the 50s. I can deal with these temps, 40 and below NO. We've also had some lovely sunrises lately too.

And since it's nice this weekend, DH & I are cleaning up the large potted plants outside time to bring them in. This week I cleaned up all the small ones as I can manage them.It's hard to get used to again looking out the kitchen window and seeing no color. Good thing we have evergreens that are still green throughout winter, these trees were babies going in, now they top 30-40 feet high. It's crazy!!!

@Tennesseegal  yes I did return that bracelet.  The reviews were right, that clasp has issues.

@SoX   This week has been exhausting Woman Wink  I use the lawnmower to take care of the leaves.  It's self propelled and has the bagger attachment.  If I had to rake my shoulders would be screaming, lol.

We are having Indian summer in NW Ohio.  It's been so beautiful!  Doing some laundry to hang outside, of course.  Looking forward to the Michigan/Indiana game today at noon and hope to sit on my porch later, read and enjoy.

Four week anniversary of my hip surgery, I am healing and for the first time this moring I saw me in the mirror not a feeble old lady, slow and steady
