Good Morning @LTT1 I hope that you are feeling better soon. Congrats on the new iPad - I know they're pricey but they seem to last a long time.

@Carolina925 I've had that message pop up on my computer and I always have to stop and say wait a minute Bernie - you don't use McAfee or whatever they seem to be warning about.

@meallen616 What's going on in NJ with the groundhog for Groundhog Day? I thought I saw something about not being able to find a suitable groundhog for the second year in a row?

@jackthebear the sun came out here at 11:18 am yesterday morning. It was just a glimpse and then it returned 2 hours later for an hour or so. It's been so dreary here that I happened to be on the phone with my sister at 11:18 am when the first peek of sun appeared and I said, hey look out of your window - are you getting sun over there? She's not that far from me geographically. ![]()

They said they can't find another one because of state regulations with wildlife!
So, we watch Phil, (who lies)!! LOL

@meallen616 for 20 years I had a groundhog that lived under my front porch. I'm not suggesting that it was the same groundhog, I think it was the original and descendants. The groundhog drank out of the water bowls that I put out for the birds and squirrels and sat on the front porch waiting for me to come home from work.
All that said, the groundhog stayed wild - it wouldn't run from me when it saw me but I also couldn't pick it up or pet it.
Tradition or not I was never really cool with the practice of snatching a groundhog out of a fake burrow so photographers could blind it with camera flashes. My feelings on the subject got stronger when I formed a relationship with a groundhog.
Michigan has a groundhog at a nature center. I believe Woody couldn't live in the wild and I'm not sure how big of an event it is for Woody on groundhog day. I read that Woody said 6 more weeks of winter while Phil said early spring.
