I ordered that necklace I was talking about from HSN. I am looking forward to it's arrival and hope it looks as good in person as it did online.

@Bird mama... well, when you retire you find out that they wait until you are out of view and then offer great deals (like fashion on Monday and Tuesday)!

I forgot to mention that we watched "Love Actually" (again) and I am now wanting the soundtrack. Practically every song is a keeper!

Anyone watch any of the Q holiday programming? I channel surfed a couple of times and seemed to hit the parade or some segment with Shawn interviewing Kathleen Kirkwood - every time, lol

Hi to all of you. I got a new tablet from my DD & DSIL so I am in practice mode yet. After having a meltdown on Weds.lunch here on Thursday with our DD & family & my brother & family was nice. We did get mom here in the afternoon for a visit. Her memory is very poor, but she did recognize all of us. Our son did fly to Chicago on Thursday afternoon & was able to join all of us yesterday at one of my BIL'S. His dear wife will get here today. Tomorrow we are all having lunch at a nice Italian restaurant in our hometown. We had so much fun with ouyr 3 DGC. Monday we take our DS & DDIL to get bus so they can fly back to Boston. Whirlwind trip for them but so nice to see them again. We will

take them to see my mom tomorrow. I just hope that mom knoiws who they are.
