@lolakimono   It's a good idea that Mom is moving closer.

@jackthebear   I probably could have adjusted.  Lucky for me I found other options, lol.

Every time I see something pink now, I use your phrase "So Barbie."   It's stuck in my head ...   thanks a lot, GF.Woman Very Happy

@lolakimono   Michigan was having issues developing teachers before the pandemic.  Folks just moved away from wanting to be teachers.  We lost teachers we couldn't afford to lose with the pandemic.  I'm wondering how schools are going to address monkeypox - I've yet to see any guidance and many kids go back near the end of the month, even if it's half day.

Re: AM Style Chat August 13th

@SoX I love Pendleton. Funny story for you. My mom was a lover of Pendleton. Lots of suits and such. So when i sold her home, also sold her clothes. A group of young college students came to the sale and bought every Pendleton item. Scarfs, skirts, slacks, sweater and blazers! So I had to ask...what were they going to do with all the merchandise. Well, they were a creative bunch...they had plans to remake the items. Shorten skirts, add fabric to items and such. They just about purchased every thing and one girl said, here's my number if you find more!

Re: AM Style Chat August 13th

Good morning. Fall is in the air here. It was 56 degrees when I woke up, and it'll be a high of 80 degrees today.

I made a purchase this last week. I bought these same SG dip dye jeans in "canary" last year because I wanted yellow, but they were more green on the bottom. This time they're a goldenrod yellow, which is fine with me because I have a lot to wear with them.

@LTT1  I haven't heard of narcissistic abuse before. What is it? Are there certain signs to be wary of? What was the group about?
