I'm almost 72 and I get stares (on the rare occasion) when I pop into the grocery store wearing my "Sunday Best" after church...

Although I'm not wearing black leather from head-to-toe, I am fully color-coordinated, bedecked in jewelry and totally dressed up...

Good for you! I bet you look very nice in your Sunday best.

We used to grocery shop on Sunday after church. It was the best time when we were both still working. Got some stares, but I think most people assumed we came from church.

I was called away from church last year for a sister who was in the ER with a medical emergency. Had my jersey knit wrap dress, blazer, and low wedges on all day in the hospital. Got plenty of looks and a few questions which I gladly answered. And, I was very comfortable. Dressing up doesn't have to be uncomfortable.

Have a Good Evening!
