Awe, come on! If my mom (I'm not of that age yet) dressed like this to a dressy/funky event.....not to Walmart, I would think she was the coolest person on the planet and I'd love every minute of it!

I notice what others are wearing, how they appear. Sometimes, I admire their look, and other times, I'm embarrassed for them.

Personally, I wouldn't wear anything with fringe,  nor a moto/motorcycle jacket unless I was attending a costume party as a biker chick.

Gives me Patsy from Ab Fab vibes, which is not such a bad thing.   She'd be a hoot to hang ouit with.

Put a long blonde wig on her and she could be my SIL. She dresses that way and she is a hoot! Loves life and still very much involved in the music industry. Personally, although I am very conservatively dressed, I love people who do their own thing and march to their own drummer.

@Trinity11  Yes to this! I'm more conservative too but I so admire people who can do their own thing and let their unique personalities shine.

I'm almost 72 and I get stares (on the rare occasion) when I pop into the grocery store wearing my "Sunday Best" after church...

Although I'm not wearing black leather from head-to-toe, I am fully color-coordinated, bedecked in jewelry and totally dressed up...

I'm looking good, feeling great,and not giving a whiff about what anyone else thinks of my outfit.
