I just saw Katrina sellng A397751 the plaid version of the ponte pants.

The plaid doesn't match and looks absolutely awful. Not a good view of the side seams here - but you can see a bit of them.

Looks like a spider web. Must be embarrassing to have to try to sell such obviously poorly-made merchandise.

I was always told by my mom that if the seams match it's a well made item. I've always lived by that.  Those pants look like a hot mess and to me they scream poorly made.

back in the day when things were made here and probably not in the huge quantities that Q and online requires there was time to match the plaids

looks like in true Q style the model is jammed into a pair at least 1 size if not 2 sizes too small, so that doesn't help

and I don't like Ponte, it looks cheap to me whatever the price

OK  that is my bi----g for the day

I bought these, if I remember they are on sale very cheap. I washed never worn, but will check them, anyways they are to wear around the house, so no big deal to me. I absolutely love Legacy pants, that I bought last two years, they are wonderful, and I look everyday to see if they are back, and no they arent. Please QVC bring the old Legacy pant back.

@Cali Bag Lady  My mom told me the same thing.  She also said you get what you pay for. Expecting matching plaids from knit  pants under $30 from D&C?  Not going to happen.

@jackthebear  I also agree with you!

I agree -- they look awful. I am reminded that Susan Graver stresses that all her prints and plaids line up. In other words, they match. And at QVC's prices, too.

I would never, in a million years, wear plaid pants-----and have a huge pet peeve about plaids or stripes that don't match on the side seams---first thing I check--even patterns need to match. Been sewing for 60 for my 67 years and was always taught to make sure to match things---my mom sewed and started me on her sewing maching when I was 7.

IMO those pants wouldn't be very flattering on many women even if the plaid matched up at the sides and seams. The "pulling effect" of the pattern over the hips bum, and thighs is not a good look. JMO.
