Joan Rivers Crochet Hooded Cardigan with Bracelet Sleeves

I wonder why they are calling ths crochet.  It's definitely a machine knit piece.

If you look closely at the piece - you can see knits and purls.  David even pointed out the "purls" yesterday,  There are no knits or purls in crochet.

Many people do not know the diff between knit and crochet.

Pretty surprised someone in manufacturing/ordering didn't spot this.

Lots seem not to know, even fewer can tell tatting from crochet 🧶

Definitely!  

A friend asked me if I knitted the sweater coat I was wearing.  I said I made it but that it was crocheted.

She then turned to another friend and said:  "she knitted that herself."

Pribably the same person wrote that description who also recently described a pair of 28" pants as "crop pants".  I had to cut 2" off and hem to make them ankle length.
