I really don't get the point of wearing this item. It's too long in the back that it curls up on the hem. There's so much material that does nothing. If you're chilled it does not cover your arms and it just hangs to your sides ... does not cover the front of you.

I'm not much of a fan of the cacoon style either but that may be because it makes me look rounder.
Looking at the reviews though it looks like there are a lot of fans of the style.

People tend to gravitate to something "different".

Why do you have to start a thread with a negative comment about a item that many people clearly like and wear???

Often just covering the shoulders takes the chill off, I guess that's what shawls are for. Looks like a really cute item reminiscent of sweaters ballerina's often wear for warmup. Different strokes as with anything else. Luckily, if you don't get it, you don't have to buy it.

Luckily no one "has" to buy it. I am aware of that.

First, in answer to your question, I (like other posters) start a thread to basically give my opinion or comment on a subject. So I guess my answer is because I wanted to. Why you would question me I don't know.
In addition, I don't know why you follow most of my comments and make negative remarks to me and about me. You recently commented on a separate thread to another poster where you clearly were not involved. I made a sincere apology to her (the OP) -- result was we both came to an understanding and left it as a positive experience. Why you would go back and seek out my posts and make three negative and separate comments is a mystery to me. So, moving forward I plan to continue to refrain from making any comments to your posts. I would appreciate it if you would give me the same consideration. So in favor of civility, can we please just put it to rest and move forward.

I honestly prefer items that close because it is precisely my chest and shoulders that get the coldest. The latter refers to that 'cold shoulder' craze that seems to have ebbed.

I'm on board with a truce. You don't comment on my posts and I will return the favor.

Wow! Ladies, I I am impressed with the civility of your truce.
I was removed twice from posting against a famous Logo lover. After the first post, which was an angry reaction, I was running errands and couldn't get it out of my mind. I realized I had really gotten too angry and just let it all hang out, and I felt badly. I came home to it removed. I wrote another post saying sometimes things are said that are regretted, and that was removed.
I wish months ago I had stopped getting so angry about personal comments and just let it go. It has only been about that line of clothing.
I applaud both of you, sincerely. I think we all enjoy leaving our comments about a variety of subjects. I am a QVC shopper as well.
