Re: A slow-brewing fashion movement

We would all be better off if we had few clothes in our closets........that would mean less clutter, less organizing, less headaches, etc., etc., and etc.............Growing up and until my "salad years" were over I kept a very small number of clothes. Usually, I made several purchases each season but didn't go overboard. Now I have too many shoes, too many purses, too many sweaters, too many of everything and often I have "nothing to wear". I can only blame me...............

Re: A slow-brewing fashion movement

I'm an older shopper and I'm having sticker shock, too. Prices amaze me! I do not need my clothes and accessories to last forever, but I want to look good and I want a variety of clothes in my closet. I shop for bargains and that includes consignment shops, thrift stores, discount stores and ebay. I judge high quality by the fabric, construction, and style, not the price.
