I think it would be nice if they had one additional hour that they rotate each week. Linea, Clarks, Susan Graver, whomever.

Susan already gets plenty of air time and she has two shows on QVC. As for the other brands, isn't that what PMS and AMS and all the other fashion shows througout the week are for? To show case all the designers.

I like his "special-ness"; it's like a lovely boutique in the midst of all the other QVC offerings. I don't bother watching the other shows at all anymore. Yesterday's Linea show was terrific, well paced, easy to watch and enjoy, great clothes that are wearable at any age.

I so agree with this, I love the "specialness" of Linea, and while I do occasionally watch some of the other programs (didn't watch any of last night, though), I never buy from them. I can buy most all of that at any local store or online, and for less money, but if I want something really special, quality, and well-designed, I buy Linea, you can't buy Linea quality for these prices anywhere else that I have found. To each their own.

I love and enjoy every single show Louis does. But I don't want to wear the poor man down. I feel as though we have him running a treadmill already with all the requests coming to him for the next set of sneak peeks and his generous open door to answer any/all questions at his blog. And this winter all those trips to PA must have been somewhat grueling with weather issues and taking care of things at home on his own property...... I like it that we are always left wanting more Smiley Wink

I just put those names out there. I meant, in general, in addition to what they are doing with the hour of IM and LOGO. Add an extra hour each week to focus on a specific designer or specific style. If not a designer, then maybe one hour of beach wear, an hour of business dress, an hour of business casual, an hour of formal wear, an hour for juniors, an hour of fashion forward....whatever. It isn't like they don't put IM and LOGO in other shows because they have their scheduled hour.

Re: A Suggestion for Monday Night Programming

If and when Linea is on, I try to watch. When it's LOGO NOGO I try not to watch. Isaac's things seem nice, but although I could purchase if I wanted, some of them seem too expensive for their usefulness to me given my retired lifestyle. I can buy equal quality locally for far less $$, and there's no S&H involved, plus no charge to return if needed.

I vote for Linea also!

My favorites designs are Linea and George Simonton's. I like that they are more special to look forward to, rather than to become overdone. (Oh, and it's much better for my credit card!!!!Smile)

If he wanted to retire...he could retire.

I think he still wants to be as successful as possible. He could rent or buy a place in PA.

Owl,

Well said. I also watch/tape all Louis' shows. In addition to seeing all the beautiful new clothes, I also get many ideas for accessorizing outfits from seeing how he puts things together. You are right; I, too, always am left wishing there were more at the end of each of his shows.

Re: A Suggestion for Monday Night Programming

I can't see Logo commanding an hour every week... I just don't get it, though I guess they're selling a ton of it to the 'yoga-chic' crowd...
