@lolakimono

our chiropractor (who we have known our entire married life....he was friends with our in-laws)

is younger and he is more like my go-to for a PT.

They are billing Medicare for my treatments which are three days every week.

Sorry you have to go...I hope they are helping you. Mine are sure helping me...I needed them.❤️

This week BF and I have been living in a country music song, LOL.

He started his new job, but somehow they went his paperwork to a claims processing facility in WV, so he didn't "exist."

On Monday he woke up with a chipped tooth, probably from a late night after Halloween Snickers bar.  He had to go to the dentist STAT because his "good" insurance expires at the end of the month.

He also caught a cold.

On Monday I went to acupuncture, and my practitioner suggested a new Chinese herb.  I took four on my way home, made dinner, and read about it online since the label is in Chinese.

It contains fermented wheat, so it says clearly not for patients with celiac.  My scalp felt itchy later, so I took Benadryl.

On Wednesday the small cat gobbled down a fresh dish of tuna, then promptly projectile vomited onto my school bag, which still smells like tuna.

I got my allergy shot on Thursday, and ended up with a  golf ball sized welt on the site.  More Benadryl.

That is all for this week.

Good morning @jackthebear @Snicks1 @LTT1 @lolakimono @I am still oxox .  I can not. believe it is Thanksgiving week.  Where did this year go?

I am officially on vacation!  I should be in Italy, my BFF/fam and friends all landed in Rome early today.  I'm jealous but wouldn't be comfortable leaving my pup where he isn't feeling well.

His visit with the specialist was very long (11am appt, returned home 6:30pm Tuesday) but ....he is on the road to recovering (fingers crossed)-- No cancer (Thank GOD!).  He started immunosupressant drugs  and has stopped bleeding already. They indicated it can take up to 2 weeks before the meds kick in--glad they're already working!   Once this clears and they figure out a treatment plan for this disorder (It's graphic so I won't get into detail)  I'm going to have to address what they believe is Cushings disease (I've been trying to tell my vet this for a year) which is his second issue.  Overall, hearing the first words from this vet "I'm not at all convinced this is Cancer" - I think my week was just amazing!  I could not be more relieved.

I'm going to be cooking and cleaning (really sterilizing) this house for the next several days as the whole fam is coming here.

@lolakimono Kitty is beautiful!  Clearly no dummy!  Knows right where to go in the cold morning hours!

Everyone have a great Holiday!

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I had an absolutely awful week. I'm glad that I can recognize that buying clothes is not going to be the answer. I need to do some productive things this weekend, but this week and my emotions have just drained all my motivation. Feeling very down and missing my Mom so much.

Not PC, but I would like to keep him chained up in my basement for those "anytime" adjustments.Cat Surprised

I have 100 chiro visits a year, so I go when I need to.  Since I stand all day, $15 is a small price to pay for spine/neck maintenance.

I know you have mentioned your dad.  Is he nearby, and do you have any other family nearby?

Here is a photo I have been meaning to share since summer❣️
LaLexi🎀 had me use a ponytail band (pink) to gather the back of this too-large-for-her top! She LOVED this top! Can you say  "fashionista?"  Designer.

They are both sharing the same blanket now. Heart

In January it will be six years since we brought them home.  The boy cat was like a rubber chicken the first time we met him- flopped all over us looking for hugs and kisses.   The semi-feral girl cat has been a tough nut to crack.  She can run VERY fast, and spent a long time running away from BF (and from me).  We have had some very recent breakthroughs.  Last week, BF was able to pick her up, carry her up a flight of stairs, and put her in bed for a nap.  Just last night, she hopped up onto my chest and sat there for five minutes.  She will sleep in the bed, but she's mostly a foot cat.  I think the cold weather makes her a bit more "lovey."
