@Desert Lily

BTW, I read your review on the Snow Joe Snow Thrower ... I had it on advance order for January 3rd shipping ... repeat -- had.

I'm so glad you took the time to explain what would have been a disaster for me to try and assemble.   We have a large snowblower in the garage for heavy stuff ... like last week;  but I need something to clear the porch, steps, and walkway to the curb on days my DH goes to dialysis (he takes a Pace bus).  What I thought would be something quick to assemble and to keep in the basement may not be to my liking after all.  I just canceled it ...

Thanks again.

Re: A.M. Style Sisters Live Chat, 12/31/2022

@SoX  The Snow Joe that I received was defective in the handle, but maybe other ones are fine. Idk. Home Depot sells one like it, but it has a bent handle. It will be interesting to see if Q posts the original reviews again or not. I wanted to see what other people thought of it and if it worked for them.

I bought a larger snow thrower, too, by RYOBI. It's also a rechargeable. Like you, I wanted the Snow Joe for smaller jobs. I kept it since the neighbor assembled it, and I had no box.

@SoX   That red sherpa looked really pretty. Was it different when you saw it in person?

I suppose I'm more of a traditionalist than I realized.  While the red was a great color, I looked like a real "teddy bear" in it ... plus the thought of 100% polyester for a winter coat just didn't sit well with me.  Add to that I found a 100% wool coat at 40% o the sale price was a no brainer ... more of an everyday coat than a wear- sometime red.

@SoX   I love that coat! It's a classic.

When I was in college I had one very similar to it with the toggles & hood, only in a solid dark brown. My grandma knitted beanie hats with French knots on them and matching mittens for me. She thought the brown was too dark on me (I had natural blonde hair back then), so the hats were pastel blue, pink, off-white with different colors of French knots & flowers to brighten things up.
