Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, BEAUTY EDITION

@Bird mama I like the blouse and the short/elbow sleeve turtlenecks. I used to shop in JC Penney all the time looking for tall pants and jeans. I don't go to the mall any more, partly because my Mom and I went there so often.

I almost ordered a 33" inseam pair of corduroys with my order, they were on clearance. Should have tried them.

@Greeneyedlady21   take it from someone who has been shopping JCP since the summer of 1980, lol..... They don't carry 'tall' items in the store.  Maybe longer jeans like levis or some brand like that.  JCP turned me into a catalog/online shopper.

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, BEAUTY EDITION

@Greeneyedlady21   There have been occasions where a coat or jacket appealed to me and I couldn't quite tell about the fabric.  I saw a faux leather jacket from JCP a year or so ago and I just couldn't figure out the quality.  I drove over to the only stand alone JCP I know and sought out the jacket in misses sizes just to touch the fabric.  Glad I did because when I saw the jacket in person I was like - ick!

Has anyone tried Dress Barn now that it's online only?  I finally unsubscribed to the emails and I'm trying to figure out how to opt out of the texts.

I haven’t turned on QVC yer today. If it’s an all beauty dat ... it never will be turned on.

My impression is from beauty shows I’ve seen in the past - all the products are formulated to correct some issue. I don’t have any issues.

@Bird mama

I have looked at the site and alas there is nothing of much interest. I loved the old Dress Barn, I bought a lot from the previous store

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, BEAUTY EDITION

Happy Saturday everyone!  I'm not a fan of all day beauty events.  I watched several of the gold shows yesterday.  The only thing that I really wanted was a mother of pearl clover necklace but I just couldn't justify the $200 price tag.

@PINKdogWOOD

I'm like you; I'm already beautiful!!!

@Greeneyedlady21

I am glad you found a skirt.  It's so frustrating when you are looking for something in particular and can't find it anywhere.

@Snicks1

That's a lot of snow!  I wish we would just get a little snow.

@I am still oxox

So glad to hear that you are feeling better and stronger.

@Bird mama

I recognized that blazer from a Styleatacertainage blog post from last week.  She wore it as a topper.  I think that's a good look.

There was a Dress Barn right across the street from my office- I shopped there often for clothes and accessories for work. They carried really nice things.

Now that I’m retired, I’ll have to check their website to see if they have anything for my retirement life.

@Bird mama

I’m a JCP fan ... I haven’t checked their website recently .. despite getting almost daily text messages re sales.

Thanks for mentioning new arrivals .. I like that blouse.

@Bird mama   I do like these sweaters but not fond of the neckline, would prefer just a round crew neck for spring/summer wear. Reminds me of the old fashioned 'poorboy' sweaters when I was a teenager. I had a burgundy/nice shade of pink stripe I liked to wear. Loved the poorboy look.
