My hairdresser was on vacation last weekend so I'm hoping to get my hair cut today or tomorrow.

I need to make a run to home depot for a new toilet seat for the upstairs bathroom.  I broke the one that's on there now while doing some breakdancing/gymnastics falling out of the tub last Sunday.  I'm okay, the bruises are healing.  While I'm at it, I'll pick up a bath mat.  I do have grippy things on the tub, but extra grip couldn't hurt.

The city finally poured my driveway approach (remember last year they jacked it up?) on Monday.  They were pouring it as I was leaving the house so I didn't have to time doodle the wet concrete.  It was pretty much set by the time I came home.

I've been purging closets again.  

On the work front, there was a time I knew my role on my old team and I owned it, lol.  These days, kind of feeling like a contractor which isn't too bad - there will be no emotional response by the time I retire.  Little by little I'm detaching emotionally.  I went from having to role to being grateful I have a seat.  That's working out for me too, honestly :-)

What else - my eldest great niece started school - kindergarten this past Monday.

I don't know if the cats face appplies to Lola, but some mornings I have that cat face when I'm getting ready to go to work, rofl.
