Yesterday was hubby's birthday, he had to work, so I celebrated by having lunch with a friend, lol. It was fun, had not seen her for quite some time. I did make his favorite dinner though. That was the extent of the festivities, as he had to be at work again this morning at 4:30am.

Yep... the guy gave us a quote, saying it would be awhile... then he up and appeared, surprising us.

We thought it would be Sept... glad to have it done as it also rained last night unexpectedly.

We are supposed to pay up front and not wait until the insurance pays off, which we agreed to do.

Now, the gutters need to be finished until he finally gets his $$.

Time for me to get going on my party-prep.   For fun, I am also making custom wineglasses for the "girls."   I took a class on paint markers that work on plastic.  Think I will paint a simple pattern around the bottom of the stemless glassses, and then paint their names.  (I would rather do that than clean the bathroom, but I will do that too!

Wishing you all a good weekend....feel better if you are not, hope the projects get finished, and do something nice for yourself.  I will too!
