Thanks for asking, Bird.  They're slowly declining and I'm looking into the next level of care for my dad. He needs a home aid, but he refuses to allow it.  

Anyway, I don't want to discuss it here because it's just such a depressing topic with no happy ending. I didn't sign on the boards to bring everyone down.

Right now, the dog isn't sh*&%ting and the cat's back, so it's all good. Right?

@LTT1, thanks for asking, the move was easier than expected. We'd been in the other house 21 years, but I needed one level and was able to find one in the same neighborhood. So I got to de clutter a lot and do a few new things here. The kitty didn't come back on his own, but during a walk I called his name and he just walked up the old driveway! He's been fine since.
