Good morning everyone.  Cool here in Central Fl. this morning.  My daughter in Northeast having warmer temps than us.  I'm sitting on the front porch feeling totally comfortable.

I took advantage of Talbots sale 7/4 - 50% off and $5 shipping and bought a blouse and 4 t's.  That was my fashion purchase for the week.

Son and family coming for lunch and to help out with a couple of maintenance chores on the house that DH cannot do.  Other than that a quiet weekend.

I have seen these in person at our local boot store.  I ALMOST bought them, as they were on sale, which doesn't happen often.  If you sign up for e-mails from Rivertrail Mercantile, which is where I buy most of my OG boots, they will send you sale alerts.  You can hope for 25% off on some boots.  My red ones went on sale (sometimes they feature 10 at a time) and just for that day, so I snapped them up.  

They were exquisite.  I resisted, because I felt that they were too similar to these, which are my favorites of all of my boots. These are from Ariat, and they have Goodyear technology inside.  Bounce, bounce, bounce!  I must confess that I do not wear a lot of black, because it washes me out, but almost 100% of the time when I do, it's with these boots.

I bought these last year, as a tribute to my father in law and his favorite team.

 

These are also Old Gringo, and I wear them a lot.

@twinny70  You were really smart to schedule everything on one day.  Before I retired that was how I did it too.  If I was going to take a day off for medical appointments, I'd schedule as many as possible on the same day.

water heater went out on the 4th. FUN TIMES!

A man came out (plumber) and completely replaced everything....redid the pipes. Now it is the BEST IT HAS EVER BEEN!
