So sorry to hear you have been "laid up."

'My first time in years to be out enjoying the sun at a fair with the grands was a couple of weeks ago. I made it through without ill effects that have plagued me for 20 years.

@LTT1   I think the shoes are cute too.  I started to watch the presentation and the Clarks vendor said the shoe was made exclusively for QVC.  I'm going to make up my own abbreviation here and say that when I heard it was exclusively made for QVC that was the K.O.D.  (kiss of death, lol).  I stopped the video immediately and said, yea I'm out.

I left home at 7:55 so that I could get there when they opened.  On Saturday's they open at 9:00.  Argh.  So I will go back again.

Tennesseegal, how exciting that you could go to your dgd's grandparents day.  Enjoy your retirement.  I still say it's the best job in the world. How fun to be able to grow a bunch of pumpkins & be in your "pumpkin picking outfit." 

Sox, my DH is doing well, but fatigue is the worst part of it.  He was so used to Go, Go Go.  Now he needs to rest up between doing nothing or doing something.  We were up in the Door County area for 4 days last month.  We love to travel and have been to every state except for NM, OK & LA.  Hopefully we will get to NM and OK next week.  Then we will have been to 49 states in 49 years.  The 50th state could be tricky.  I like the plaid shirt jacket.

After I go back to see if the coat is still there, I am going to moped downtown for my walk.  Then I might go to a flea market in town.  It's held once a year.  The only other flea market that we have ever been to was in Shipshewana, IN
