@lolakimono  I hope this year at school is better than last year.

My sibling who lives about an hour N/NW of Philadelphia had a 2-hour power outage and only a soaked yard. My child in Philadelphia is okay TG but pretty freaked with the flooding. I wish I was there to help and calm them.

I've continued searching online for window treatments for my new home in progress. I have a virtual appointment with the design team to choose finishings. I've previewed some things, and choices will depend on prices besides wants.

I bought the Miz Mooz Big Deal booties in brown yesterday. I had been looking at their boots with buttons since last year. I already have a pair of MM black ankle boots, so I went with these.

I've been concentrating on purchasing for the new place only, so I'm rationalizing these boots as a pre-birthday gift to myself - 2 months early. It's 108 degrees here this weekend; boots must be one of my downfalls.

These are inexpensive felt strips. They come in two sizes.

Now to just hang them!

@Desert Lily   I couldn't decide between the MM wine color or the brownish you purchased.  Wine sold out so decision made. Can't wait to get them.
