My eldest niece was in the hospital for a couple of days starting a week ago Friday.  She's not diabetic or immuno-compromised and she still caught a case of cellulitis on her ankle.  That was a scary 

While she was in the hospital, she got a call on her cell from my second cousin announcing that second cousin's father was found deceased at home by second cousin's brother on Sunday   He's my first cousin by marriage and had been married to my late female cousin for so many years that I don't remember him NOT being in the family.  I've never been really close with my cousins or their children but it was still sad to hear.

Then I got a text that one of my former coworker's Mom passed away.

I don't know what the odds were for this but cousin and coworker's Mom were both having one day visitation yesterday afternoon.  One was from 4-8 and the other was 5-8 so I started at the funeral home closest to me for an hour then drove across town to the other funeral home.

I've taken the dog out for her "business" and watered my plants, and SCORED free shipping on the sandals I've stalking, so they are on their way to me, yay! Persistence and resisting, paid off. lol
