@SoX and other lovers of Martha and the Vandellas (personal favorites of mine!) Just the best to sing along with!
Nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide
Got nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide.
It's not love, I'm a running from,
It's the heartbreak I know will come.
'Cause I know you're no good for me, but you've become a part of me.
Ev'rywhere I go, your face I see, ev'ry step I take, you take with me yeah
Nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide
Got nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide.
I know you're not good for me, but free of you I'll never be, no.
Each night as I sleep, into my heart you creep.
I wake up feelin' sorry I met you, hoping soon that I'll forget you.
When I look in the mirror to comb my hair
I see your face just a smiling there.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from you baby,
Got nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide.
I know you're no good for me, but you've become a part of me,
How can I fight a lover, that shouldn't be, when it's so deep,
So deep, deep inside of me
My love reaches so high I can't get over it
It's so wide I can't get around it, no
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from you baby
Just can't get away from you baby, no matter how I try to
I know you're no good for me, but free of you I'll never be,
Nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide, got nowhere to run to baby.

@Bird mama wrote:Good Morning all, I ordered something from the Q this week.
I usually don't do bangles however this one was offered in small so I thought I'd try again, lol.
i love this, @Bird mama
Yes, I'm confused! One of the differences I'm seeing now in terms of order of things posted here is that if I address a post specifically, it is placed immediately after the actual post, rather than it being placed after the last post.

I had never seen that video! Such talented, beautiful woman.
Leave it to me to notice the guys on the line spray painting were NOT wearing masks. Yikes! All those chemicals!
If you liked that one, you may like Makin' Thunderbirds by Bob Seger. Because of this song, the first car I bought on my own was a Thunderbird (1987). I still have it!

Such great music.

I wish it was, but it is white with tan interior. It is NOT the low, sleek T-birds of the 50s, but it is old enough now that it does stand out.
My husband has been replacing a "coil" of some sort on it, and it sits in the garage with the hood up. He's very busy working, so, car repairs have to wait.
Every time I think of getting rid of it, I simply cannot. And, likewise, DH has a 1964 Studebaker Avanti awaiting "repair"....so we are both stuck in the past.
Happy memories of music and youth!

Ok I went to see, IN PERSON, new dermatologist. (younger guy) This AFTER a telehealth appt early April only to be an ESTABLISHED patient so I would be able to see him first thing and get meds continued. Now, no he will not rx my LDN compounded med! WELL!
So now I will see another NEW derm (a young woman) early next month. I will need to pay cash. Oh well.
Speaking of LDN, I will be featured on a radio show telling my story of LDN. I'm not excited.

@lolakimonoOmg, asbestos! Do they have a plan to safely remove it? Is it safe when the HVAC goes on? It sounds like you really need a break.
I just received a D & Co. gauze jacket today I ordered 6/1 - 4 weeks ago. I haven't ordered anything from the Q for a while now - I'm waiting for them to fix their shipping issues first - unless they have something spectacular that I have to have Lol.
I thought the blue gauze could work as a summer "denim" jacket.
But then Q sent a Philosophy item that was on waitlist for 90 days; I thought waitlist automatically cancelled after 45 days or I would've cancelled it myself because I had already bought something else. Oh well. The jacket fits and is nice.
Stay safe and have a good week, Fashionistas.
