What an awesome thing to witness and to do!

That must make those veterans feel appreciated and welcomed home!

Yesterday, I took some time to google search pictures from WWII ...both our dads were in the US Navy! Their aircraft carriers are featured in many pictures, including ones of kamikaze planes bombing them! WOW

My dad always spoke of being stationed off the coast of New Caledonia on his aircraft carrier and he talked about there being lots of sharks.

@Greeneyedlady21, @Bird mama, it is exciting. It's really well coordinated. Police and volunteers block off both ends of the overpasses, so that "we" don't get hit by any cars, lol. The buses that bring the veterans from the St. Louis airport, come cruising in at 70 mph (I am guessing about their speed) and the motorcycles come in from the onramp and join them, a few get in front, right behind the police escort, some ride beside and the rest all follow. Even after the buses pass, most all the motorcyclists wave to us on the overpasses. They are there for the veterans, rain or not. I don't stop smiling the entire time, lol.

Superheroes day- DC. vs. Marvel

I don't care about either.  My coworkers are in relationships with two dorks, so they have seen ALL of the movies.  But, yesterday I learned there is ONE character who speaks to me, so I found these on Amazon...

I went to see John Wick 3 - Parabellum on Monday.  Great movie.

@Bird mama, I keep smiling, to keep from crying. I love this so much. Sometimes there is someone from WW II also. I follow the motorcycle group on FB, so I know what is happening and when, I go everytime I can.
