@twinny70   Oh my goodness, you and your husband make me tired just reading about your deep cleaning!!!!  And more so, you make me feel so lazy when I should be doing exactly what you both are accomplishing!!!!

I pray that you both stay very safe and healthy through this most trying time for all of us.

Thank you @Tennesseegal   appreciate your kind words.

Those hyacinths, I can almost smell their sweetness from here! As we know how bulbs can outgrow themselves, we used to have a nice patch in the backyard, all pastel colors, lovely.

@lolakimono   Love your poshmark purchase.  I have been buying non-wearable items because I am afraid of fit, but handbags, etc., from them for a while and I have always been pleased.  They have "good stuff."

if you go with brands you know, and the seller has good info you should be OK.  but I certainly understand,  I got a jumpsuit for $15 the seller had bad pics and no sizing which is probably why the price was so low

I only buy with my earnings,

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, 7:00, 3/21

My silly forgetfulness.  As many of you might recall, we have had a very difficult last year.  DH has been in and out of the hospital many times and on occasion, critical.

Monday I was looking for a blazer and could not find it.  I could not imagine when was the last time I had worn it.  I prodded my brain and poked around and decided I had left it in a restaurant where I had eaten in mid December but by now (as they know me), if I had left it there someone claimed it or I did not leave it there because they would have called me.

I have 2 dry cleaners that I use frequently, one more so than the other.  One is my favorite and I go there 90% of the time but their hours are limited so if I need something to return on Saturday, I go to the other which has great hours for working people or distressed people like myself.

So I went to the dry cleaners I frequent on a more regular basis to check to see if I had left it there, no.  I had not.  They know me well and searched and found nothing.

Yesterday I decided I would check the one I rarely use just to make myself feel better.  Lo and behold, there not only was my jacket but 3 other blazers, 2 pairs of pants.  I had forgotten all about these items.  She told me I had left them on New Year's Eve.

Ouch.  I do recall.  I was telling the nursing aide who was helping me when DH first came home that I had clothing I need to take to cleaners and she told me she would be happy to do that, as the cleaners was on her way home.  I recall that now quite vividly.  Extended family illness can really tax one's brain.

@Bird mama

I have given up watching Andy, the first area of containment in Westchester is a block from my house. All of our favorite places are now take out or delivery, we will order in tonight and did the same one other night.

I am afraid that this craziness will force some of the smaller places to shut their doors for good.

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, 7:00, 3/21

Good Morning All!

Hubby and I have been on voluntary lockdown for a week, now mandatory.  Thank goodness!  Spring Breakers are heading home.

@lolakimono  I am eternally grateful to you for advising the use of L-lysine during hubby's breakout of eye shingles a few years ago.  I broke out two weeks ago, started L-lysine right away.  The doctors prescribed a drug, insurance needed preauthorization due to dosage, couldn't get for over a week.  By the time I got it, shingles were cleared up from heavy doses of L-lysine.  Thank you thank you thank you!!
