The vet techs spray it on a towel and drape Aubrey's carrier when we get there to dial down the "chatter" in the waiting room.

I tried that, did nothing. There's another "natural" I'm doing -- Solliquy (chewy.com) and something else for senior kitties. They can yowl in old age due to dementia. I don't know if that's his issue because he's always yakked up a storm, it's just that now instead of conversation it's "help! where am I and how did I get here???"
