@lolakimono Did I hear steroids? I am on them for life for an auto immune disease and when my COPD acts up, the dr. takes the steroids up to 50 to 70 mg. so I can breathe. So much fun. lol Anyway, I am thankful I am still alive. Happy Holidays to all.

Yes!

They have an area in the back of the restaurant, a glass enclosure, where they did the vows, exchanged rings, did toasts, etc. The bride's brother conducted the ceremony (spiritual, but not "legal" commitment) and he did a great job.

The food was yummy, even BF ate well. One of the waiters escorted me through the buffet so that I could find things that were safe to eat (no gluten, none of my allergens).

Afterwards we went to their house for an open house, and stayed for about 45 minutes. We are both exhausted, and so we're relaxing before we fly out tomorrow. I have not packed, but I wait until the last minute so as not to upset the pusses. We put the down duvet on the bed for the first time, so it would be ready for the kitties while we're gone, and when we returned, there was a fresh hairball right in the center of the cover. So now we'll be up even later tonight as we do the emergency wash of the bedding. Never a dull moment!
