@Desert Lily your cookie sounds delish I'm sorry you got bombarded with the retiree's work. I know what that's like. My manager had 3 months to decide how to split out the work that I alone did. It was split between 3 employees and I'm pretty sure there were one or two responsibilities that got left out in the cold. It's funny (not really) how we absorb more and more work over the years.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Dawnie, I am so sorry about the death in your family. We are going through that also. My cousins DH passed away on Thursday & his celebration of life is 12/29/19. This has been a sad year for my DH & myself, but our faith will get us through it.

Reception followed, light appetizers, no food until 2.

We got home at 4:45, I crawled into bed and slept until 9. Then I got up, got ready for bed, and slept until 6:30 this morning.
