I'm so sorry to hear this. Would Cleveland Clinic work as a place for a second opinion? I know it's a good two hours away, but it does have an excellent reputation.

@Bird mama Well, we're hear the results Nov 14 so we really do not know for sure yet. But something showed up in the CT he had done on his lungs/chest about a week ago. As we know, the techs who do these tests do not let on one way or they other which is what the tech said to him yesterday when he asked them what may have lit up. I also realize that a PET will tell us if they're benign or not. So we'll see. Of course he's hoping for the best but I'm being more realistic - I'll be very surprised if it's nothing.

@lolakimono I've done research on lung specialists here and there are many. It's just been very sad to know that many Drs here are not at all happy with how the upper eschelon seems to be running The James nowadays. We'll see how this goes here.

I am devastated for you to be hearing this news.
I will be thinking of you and your DH and sending prayers that the right doctor stays on the case and gets you both through this.
I'm so sorry😥 hugs

@PINKdogWOOD Well, many years ago my husband had a chest x-ray that showed something on his lungs. We ended up seeing a pulmonologist (hope I spelled that right) who wanted more in depth testing and scans. I looked at the guy and said, you can put my husband through the ringer but I'm telling you it's scarring. My poor husband, was put through the wringer.
It was scarring. He'd had bad pneumonia a few times in his life when he was younger.
It's good to brace yourself for challenging news while hoping for better news.
Is it okay if I start a candle for your husband? Does he have a nickname or anything you can share?

Thank YOU so much @LTT1 . I feel the love and support from all of you here. I'm not trying to the debbie downer this morning. I'm glad I can vent here though too. We all allow ourselves to do this here and support each other in our good time and bad. I appreciate this.

It must be a "battle royale" to brace yourself for the number of "communication gaps" that now exist in the medical field.
It is unfair for patients to have to navigate this as well as care for themselves during illness.
Yes, we do have each other here to share our joys and sorrows with...and it SHOULD be this way.
I can still fervently pray that the results will turn out to be something else because I hear of that happening.
So that's the way I'm going with this.💗💗💗

I have these platform slippers on order.
UGGs are a brand that are fitting reliably these days.
I like your boots! I'm seeing that they have a platform sole too! They also look MI heavy duty warm too!

Good morning ...
It's been an up and down week, weather wise ... lots of snow but it's all gone now. Very cold for this time of year ... currently 36 degrees.
My one fashion item ordered this week is the LDO tulle skirt in latte.
