I'm going to try to get my yard and garage finalized today for winter. Town is having it's final recycle event for the year so that will be this am. Then just staying home to spend some quality time with my boy. He has a vet appt Tuesday. After months of trying to figure out what is wrong a fast exam found a mass. We're going for a CT and consult with a specialist on Tuesday morning. keeping my fingers crossed that whatever it is, it's contained and can be removed. Like most pet owners, I"m pretty devastated. Canceled my trip to Italy and considering doing same for Thanksgiving. It's the worst part of having a pet. He's not acting sick - Has more energy than ever and I hope i've been on this and got it quickly.

@lolakimono He's 11. Medium size (about 55 lbs) so he's getting up there but still not ready.

Just praying and keeping my fingers crossed. All I can do. Otherwise I"ll be a crazy person.

The scarves are beautiful! I've been enjoying your daily outfits. It's a shame that you have to spend weekends grading papers and doing lesson plans. Those are two things that I don't miss. Administration thinks that teachers are more productive if they keep them occupied during planning periods.💐

I received an an email from QVC telling me that my order was delayed. I ordered a Vera Bradley overnight bag and some Diamonique earrings. I had ordered a pretty sweater from Quackery Factory to wear to a Nutcracker performance but cancelled it because I probably wouldn't get it in time.

Yes- mandatory trauma informed teaching training on Tuesday for the first 30 minutes of "planning." I had a 15 minute "check in" Outlook "invite" from my AP to discuss the department on Thursday. She did not show up on time, but sent me a text asking when I was coming over (I was sitting in her office waiting on her). That lasted almost an hour, on a day when I didn't have any departmental planning. Mandatory meetings again after school, that went on past our duty hours. Then on Friday I had two people out on a field trip, so I helped the two subs take attendance and relayed to our sub coordinator (after the one sub showed up late) that we should have an elevator key for our subs because many won't accept our jobs because they don't want to walk up three flights of stairs.
