On Wednesday we held a hump day happy hour here at the house and I invited people from my old school and my new school.  That meant going shopping after school on Monday with BF for about two hours to get supplies and drinks.

Tuesday was my haircut and highlights, and it was a downpour.

Tonight we are headed to a Halloween party at a coworker's house.  On my way home from school I stopped at a thrift store to see if I could find BF some overalls.  I have a kids' lion costume, so I was thinking I could do overalls and a plaid flannel shirt for him, add a hat and call him a scarecrow.

No overalls to be found, so then I saw and item and it all came together.

He is going to be Elton John, and today I am hoping to drag him to another thrift store to see if we can find some appropriate shoes or boots. 

You know me and the shoes, LOL.

i wholeheartedly agree with @Bird mama .  i take the zicam at the first sign of a sniffle or scratchy throat ... and i have yet to have  a cold be able to take hold.

Sox, I thought of you yesterday when I wore my new kooky boots (as seen on Andrea's OOTD thread).  My boy cat is ready for me to turn on the heat.

@Bird mama, it's mostly a head cold, head gets totally stopped up, I do cough a lot from sinus drainage, especially at night. I have slept in the recliner the last 4-5 nights to keep my head elevated, that helps some, but not enough.
