So, DD sent chocolates to DH.

Well, I think she might have been a little guilty of eating his Sarris chocolates when we were there!

She also sent him something to open tomorrow!

Here is a picture of the pants I’m keeping:

Tommy Hilfiger at Macy’s

look up “women’s jogger pants with zip pockets” to see all styles

These are a linen blend (not thrilled about) so I will wash and try to return if they wrinkle badly after

Don’t know if they will allow after washing

Also, I ordered some from D & Co at Q here ...they may be best.

I looked at something similar on JCP's site @LTT1   What stopped me dead was 100% rayon twill.  You can tell by these 2 photos they are already kind of cockeyed just hanging on the model Woman Very Happy

@lolakimono @Bird mama

The fabrics make life difficult sometimes.

If the manufacturers would include a bit of cotton in the mix = better.

I finally went into our JCP at the mall...it is VERY HUGE!

So, it looks like I need to get more acquainted with it.❤️ Tempting!

I tossed my perfectly favorite cotton canvas cargo shorts a few years ago. (Cost? $15 Columbia)

Try finding ones like them now! The only shorts with pockets and cotton that I can find this season are at

LLB. Too expensive right now.

The fit on the joggers can be tricky, I think.

So I got three pair and the decision of whether to keep is a tough one!

I mean...they do fit and flatter!

I want to know what is going on with both of you in your lives?

Is there a particular place here on the forum I can read about you?

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, 6/15, 7:00

Greeneyedlady, I am sorry to hear about you going through a rough time after your mom 's death.  My Mom passed away 3 years ago & Mother's Day  & Thanksgiving are the most difficult for me.   It sounds like you are having shopping fun like me.  Enjoy.

Snick's, it's supposed to be stormy here too.   So far it's still sunny & low 70's.  Enjoy your weekend.

digo, FIL  move.    Ugh!

Sox, it's in  the 70's.  I could get used to this too.  Great shopping.  We are Brewer's fans and Red Sox fans since our ds and ddil live outside of Boston.

Bird Mama, cute K clothing.  We don't have a K anywhere near us.  I wish that we did. Sometimes it's fun to dress up and have a Night on the Town.  Our beverage will be water.  We are still getting used to trying to drink more water.

LTT1, I like Easy Spirit shoes, but I haven't seen the turtle 🐢🐢🐢 ones.  It sounds like you have been having fun shopping too.

The balloons went up this morning when we were in bed.  I am hoping that they can go up tonight.  Rain is in the forecast though.

We have been on the mopeds going here and there this morning.  My DH said that we put 10 miles on them.

Now it's time to fix blt's for lunch.

Have a nice weekend.

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat, 6/15, 7:00

@twinny70 Thank you, I have to be very careful not to use shopping as a way to console myself. I'm very aware that can happen so I've been keeping it in check. I saw someone on TV this week, can't remember where, say that the average woman spends $400 a month on clothes. I don't so that made me feel better. I'm going to start keeping a tally to keep myself in check. Small purchases here and there can add up quickly.

That said my $17 Brooke Shields straight leg jeans just arrived. I love them. A bit too long in the tall but I can cuff them a bit. A bit too big in the waist even in an 8, but I almost always have that issue. Q reviews on them say they run big.

As long as they don't bag out on me with normal wear they fit me so well. They're high waisted so if you don't like that they're not for you. Not real heavy denim either.

Now if only they could make me look like Brooke Shields
