@Bird mama  I like both pairs.  Where are they from?

I received the pair I ordered from HSN last week.  I wasn't sure they would fit.  I wear a 7.5 in a flat shoe, but often order up to an 8 in heels.  Size 8 wasn't available, but I took a chance with the 7.5 and they are perfect.  There is quite a bit of cushioning.  I didn't notice the Velcro closure when I ordered, but I don't mind it.

My cat is currently laying halfway on me, that's as cuddly as she ever gets. Miss aloof only does this when nobody and no other pet is around. I think she's trying to get me out of bed to feed her!
