good morning AM Style Buddies,,,,I have had some oral surgery and root canal troubles...so I am finally not have pain today and wanted to touch base.  

     The best thing I have done for myself is take some Meditation classes at our senior center and it is wonderful.  If anyone is interested....here is a great little book that could help most of us open to this idea.  Mindfulness for Beginners by Jon Kabat-Zinn.   I truly am learning at age 71 how to calm myself and slow down and relax.

Morning ladies, the black cloud over our lives continues.

Last Winter I was going to a retina specialist, my regular eye doc saw something suspicious, apparently I had a "bleed" that healed.

I missed an appt when B was not well. The vision in my right eye has been cloudy, so I went back to him, It turns out there is fluid in my eye, that requires monthly injections, not sure of what, and I am not sure what they will do,  I will go on Tue with B for the first one.

I am scared out of my mind.

PS Susan Graver is Jewish and really should not be working in Yum KIppur, but then again I should be be posting either.

@Squirrel Lover...I am 5'5" and the tops that are 30" long look 'not go good' on me....I like having more leg showing (not bare legs) it makes me look taller.  It is a little difficult finding tops that are not overly long these days.

So, today is Yom Kippur.  BF went to services after the ill fated kitty eye drops caper.  He texted me to say that his back tire is totally flat, and I suggested that he atone to the cat for being Medicine Man, and purrhaps his luck will improve.

Now I am calling to get him an appointment to get this fixed after services, so that he can be back on the road to break fast tonight, which is about an hour away.

Never a dull moment around here.

I am still bleeding, and the first time I washed my hands it was like having gasoline poured on a ton of paper cuts.

Has anyone made a Q purchase lately?   I ordered a faux leather jacket from D&C in brown and I really liked it for casual wear.  However, my usual Medium size was just snug enough that I didn't think it would be comfy.  But looking at the sizing chart...the Large would have been sloppy big.  (sigh)   When will they get that sizing problem fixed? Customer service said they will not charge for return. That was a good thing.

I bought a turtleneck that was on last weeks show, UPS shipping is overnight to me, this shipped USP and took 5 days and took a tour of Westchester

OXOX....Sorry about the crazy delivery schedule....We have had an issue in our neighborhood.  For about four months, we were all getting each other's mail.  Even mail from other states!   I went to the local post office to complain several times.  First time he said, "your regular mail lady is out with a bad back."   Then they said, "we have a sub doing your area."  They he said, "I can't do anything about it. "   I was expecting the guy to hide behind the counter the next time he saw me!  One friend got someone else's bank statement and opened it by mistake.  She was so embarrassed but it was her bank also and she thought it was hers.  What a mess.

Got to get going. DD is making homemade Halloween soaps for a craft show at work. They are really cute...little pumpkins that smell like pumpkins spice and some clear purple bars with scary bony hands in them!  I helped her one day and it reminded me of when she was little and would help me make cookies... nice mama daughter time!
