What is the bird coat made of that would make you need to Scotchguard it?

So, I had an interesting thing happen at the Steppenwolf concert on Thursday night. Met my best friend and her hubby, and I went with my best guy friend. It was a concert where we had to stand, and we made our way up close to the stage. I wasn't drinking. It was loud! After an hour or so, I leaned back into the guy and told him not to move quickly or I would fall. A couple minutes later I had to go to my knees or risk fainting. I broke out in a cold sweat.

He helped me to the back of the concert hall, I sweat for about ten more minutes and then felt perfectly fine. Like nothing happened. I know it wasn't a heart attack, just got the ticker checked out. I think it was an anxiety attack, although I've never had one before. I think the extreme loudness, combined with the crush of people, was interpreted by my body as an assault, fight or flight, and getting away worked. I am one of those "highly sensitives" and I can be a bit claustrophobic. Anyway, the music was great . . . Hard to believe they've been a band for 50 years!

When people crowd together like that (at the concert) it doesn't take much to overheat and get breathless. Did you have anything to drink - like water or soda pop or anything? Could you have dehydrated a little?

@LTT1, I think LR might be in a little trouble after her rant on social media. Someone posted a link and the mods took it right down because it was so nasty. It will be fun to see how the little drama unfolds.
