Did you see the orthopedic specialist?  What did he say was wrong.  I understand wanting to avoid knee surgery.

Still looking at green trees here although we are going through a cold snap so leaves will probably start falling before turning pretty colors.

Yes. I've somehow managed to hurt a part of me I didn't even know I had. I have torn my meniscus. Sometimes this is corrected with surgery but he doesn't think it will fix my problem.

I was so excited that we're supposed to have a rainy winter, then we get the first rain in some areas and the mountains came down with it.  Very scary.  I don't live in a burn area or a danger zone, but I worry for those who do.

Mornin' everyone!  @lolakimono I received the Earthie's saddle Oxfords that you  copied last weekend and they are way too narrow for my wide feet.  They are so cute and I hate sending them back.  I considered stretching them, but because the toe is very pointed, I don't think it would look good.  😞

Oh, well.  Shoes are hard to find here, because we have no place to shop.

@luv-the-Q

Sorry they didn't work out, but thanks for the feedback.  Cat Sad

Re: A.M. Style Live Chat-10/17

I am checking in & out quickly today.  We had our first killing frost last night so it will be a cold weekend, but back to the 60's or so next week.  We are celebrating my mom's 95th birthday today. My niece & her family arrived late last night & will be here until sometime tomorrow.  DH & I have had a rough week with taking care of mom at her rehab center.  Her memory has been very poor which was not like her, but she was somewhat better yesterday.  I hope that all of you have a great weekend.  My niece & her DH are going to a famous bar in town for a limburger cheese sandwich & beer for lunch.  We are taking their DC for lunch.  We will also see our DGC & our DD & her DH today so all will be fun.  After lunch we will  enjoy the hot tub before the FUN begins.  Off to make coffee & chocolate chip pancakes.

It's the vintage looking wonder player - radio, 45's, LPs, CDs, cassettes.  I think it's a repeat TSV from Christmas in July.  Not sure.

I had a torn meniscus in my left knee.  I eventually needed O/P surgery.

Hi Ladies...I am a little late this morning.  Lack 0' Sleep but OK.    House Cat...I was very worried about you and your loved ones when I saw the horrible mud slides on the news. Glad you are oK, but sorry about the knee.  I know that pain.
